What are the criteria for
selection of a good organization to
sponsor?
Fundent
strongly believes in referral
based marketing. Your best
patients always come from your
existing patient base. Keeping
this in mind, Fundent believes
that it should be very easy to
identify potential sponsoring
organizations. We know that
doctors are approached several
times each year to help with
fundraising needs of
organizations by the doctors own
patients. Saying no is never a
good answer. Telling these
organizations that you would
like to support them is the
right answer. We believe this
can be easily done with Fundent.
Just refer them to the Fundent
website or create a link on your
own website and tell them to get
back with you if they are
interested.
We believe
once you the doctor has
identified an organization that
is interested in using Fundent
then the doctor should ask for a
listing of its members. Ideally,
this organization should be 80%
non-patients of record. The
other 20% will be the success
factor for your Fundent program.
Doctor’s always struggle to get
their own patients to talk about
their practice. Fundent solves
this problem as they now have a
real benefit in doing so.
Fundent contends that the
characteristics of our good
patients will carry through to
the groups they associate
themselves with. Fundent
strongly believes in
fee-for-service patients and
this should be a primary factor
in sponsoring any organization.

What dollar amount should the
gift certificate be?
The dollar
amount of the gift certificate
will depend upon each doctor and
the type of doctor. For example,
a general dentist gift
certificate may range from $125
to $200. Whereas, an
orthodontist may range the gift
certificate amount from $200 to
$500. Overall, the goal is to
create a return on investment
for the doctor that is very
respectable in terms of other
marketing programs. Fundent
believes that a return of 5
times the investment can be very
achievable with the right type
of sponsored organization.
Fundent will talk directly with
each doctor to determine an
appropriate amount for the gift
certificate and a sample of such
gift certificate prior to actual
printing.

What information should
be put on
the information brochure?
There is a
limited amount of space in the
Fundent standard brochure.
Therefore, general information
is best. For example, the type
of dentist, educational
background, office location,
phone number and web address if
available. Fundent will provide
each doctor an information sheet
at the time of enrollment as a
Fundent doctor and then provide
a sample brochure for the
doctors approval prior to actual
printing.

Can Fundent develop a more
personalized brochure?
Yes. Fundent
can produce a more personalized
brochure. The pricing will
depend upon what the doctor
wants. A separate engagement
letter will be signed by the
doctor and Fundent if such a
brochure is created.
